Katrine has always had an interest in art and craft. Coming from a creative family crafting is part of her DNA. Although spending 10 happy years working in healthcare as a clinician she always had a hankering to do something ‘more creative’ so after dipping in and out of painting and drawing and making things Katrine became increasingly aware of how much crafting benefited in terms of self wellbeing. So, after trying her hand at silversmithing, enamelling, mosaicing, basket making, felting, free motion embroidery, shoe making, life-drawing, knitting, natural dyeing and floristry she has finally found her passion in willow sculpture.
