Whether you remember plant hangers from the 60’s and 70’s, or have noticed boho wall art pieces in the shops today, it is safe to say that macramé is making a comeback and Charlie is the perfect person to teach!

This relaxed workshop is perfect for any beginners with no prior experience of knotting, who would also love to learn how to make their very own plant hanger.

Throughout the course, you will learn a little about the history of macramé, the different materials used, how to measure the cord for your project and how to do 4 of the most popular knots. With this knowledge the range of designs and creations are limitless. Plant hangers, bunting, wall hangings and more can all be developed from these basic skills

By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and skills to develop your own design and create a stunning, unique plant hanger to take home. 

This course is the perfect introduction for beginners who have no prior experience.

Please be aware that, because of the nature of this craft you will need a certain level of dexterity in your hands and fingers and be able to lift your arms to work with the long cords.
